Any city you visit in the world will be taken for granted by the locals. That is why visitors from across the globe are so important, to truly realise and appreciate the unique qualities and beauty within each one. London is no exception to this.

The local population have become so used to the glorious sights around them, that they don’t necessarily stop and look. Too busy getting from point A to point B. You yourself might live in Rome or Venice, but spend more time inside playing on PartyPoker (http://de.partypoker.com/) than looking out your window. When you visit London, you should:

Travel by the Tube

Peak time on the Tube, during the week lasts until 9.30am. Any time after this is ideal to explore the city. Using the Tube, will help you get from place to place without getting lost. Each line is carefully indicated, with the stops written on the platform for you to see, in case you are unsure you are getting on the right train.

Open Bus Tour

The open bus tour is a year round event, where a classic red bus takes you around the most famous monuments of the city: from the Houses of Parliament, to Big Ben to St Pauls Cathedral.

The London Eye

If you want to see London in its entirety, from above is best. The London Eye is across the Thames River from the Houses of Parliament, and has a spectacular view of the entire city. The attraction is open seven days a week and moves slowly to give plenty of time to absorb the scene.
Palaces

London has no less than three palaces for you to view at your leisure. From the oldest, Hampton Court aka the home of Henry VIII and his six wives, to Kensington, to Buckingham Palace (the current royal residence), the architecture on each will make you gaze in wonder.

The Globe Theater

Are you a fan of Shakespeare? The Globe theater, where he staged the majority of his plays, has been completely restored to resemble the original. Experience his plays like you have been transported back in time.

From all the places that I have traveled to, Italy is the most fascinating and adventurous place I have been to so far. I was amazed by the various places that I visited and the kind of touring services that was provided. My arrival in Italy made the quite an impression on me. The first time I set my foot on the airport tarmac in Italy, I was greeted by the mild sunny climate that increased my excitement that it made me focus on the greater things that I look forward to experiencing while in Italy. (To learn more about Italy visit www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/4033.htm)

One of the places that I visited was Rome, the capital of Italy and a place that I have heard wonderful things about in the media and read a number of books about. I made sure that I had learned enough about Romes attractions before leaving home. The various landmarks that I visited were, Piazza Navano, Trastevere and Colosseum, all of which took my breath away. I also found the city of Milan absolutely stunning. I found Milan to be a must for all tourists to visit due to its beautiful architecture. On the tour I was informed by one of the tour guides that Milan is one Italy’s driving forces in economic development due to foreign exchange.

I made sure that I enjoyed myself to the maximum. One of the funny experiences that made me smile was the cultural experiences. I tried new food that I have never tasted before, which I might add were very delicious. The other thing that I was humbled by was the peoples hospitality and generosity. I never felt as if I lacked some companionship and love because they were so friendly to me. I even made new friends with whom I have stayed in contact to this day. I also learnt a bit of Italian, which came in handy when experiencing Italian nightlife. Therefore, if you are searching for place where you can visit then Italy should definitely be at the top of your list. Italy will not disappoint.

Every year, the European Union chooses one city to represent Europe’s culture. Each city is chosen for its ability to host tourists, highlight the diversity of European culture, and represent the common history of Europe. Being selected as a European Capital of Culture launches a year-long celebration full of festivals, events, and tourism. The 2012 Capital of Culture is Maribor, Slovenia, why not visit as part of an unusual holidays experience?

At approximately 900 years of age, Maribor has experienced Turkish invasions, the Austrian Empire, and German occupation. Many historical buildings still stand in Maribor, including classic Roman villas, along with art commemorating the World War II invasion of the city. Today, Maribor is home to a university, a football team, and a thriving tourism business. In 2012, Maribor will offer cultural, artistic, and athletic events to draw visitors from across the world.

Maribor’s wine culture is world-famous. The oldest grapevine in the world grows on the side of the Drava River and is harvested every year during mid-fall festival. Near the vine lies the Old Vine House, featuring souvenirs, tours, wine tasting, and wine industry events. The Vinag Wine Cellar in the middle of the city has over 5.5 million litres of wine available for sale. Maribor’s wine is considered some of the best in the entire world and can be purchased from stores or independent wineries. Local villas will often have a bottle or two available for guests.

The image above shows an image from a scene near the city centre of Maribor.

Football, or soccer in American English, is a popular sport throughout Europe. Maribor hosts the NK Maribors, a national team. In 2012, a series of exhibition games will be played in Maribor. Soccer teams from around the world will participate, and fans will be able to see the action up-close at Maribor’s well-maintained fields.

A large Jewish population has resided in Maribor for centuries, and the town reflects their presence. Maribor Synagogue is the second oldest Jewish temple in Europe and serves as the centre of the Jewish community. In 2012, cultural programs designed to educate visitors on Jewish customs will be a prominent feature, as will ceremonies remembering the Holocaust.

Every June, Maribor holds a two-week Festival called Lent. Named after a district of the town, not the Catholic holiday, Lent is the highlight of the year for local citizens. In 2012, Maribor will host its largest Festival Lent ever, with musicians, acrobats, mimes, and theatre troupes coming from across Europe. Finding villas or hostel to stay at during June will be extremely difficult.

Slovenia has been working to build an Art Gallery in Maribor for decades, but economic troubles have delayed its construction. In the latter half of 2012, Maribor will unveil its new gallery, where officials are promising to hold several exhibits of European art. Despite its size, Maribor also does not have an official theatre or playhouse, and a large renovated factory will serve as a stage for the many cultural acts that are booked to perform. Current guests include the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna State Opera, and the Osipov Russian Folk Orchestra. Multiple productions by Slovenian opera houses are also anticipated.

The image above shows a scene of Maribor from the river.

Maribor, Slovenia is a one of the top tourist destinations in 2012. Its numerous festivals and cultural events will attract European and global visitors throughout the year. Accommodations in Maribor may be hard to find. Any visitors looking for cheap villas to rent are encouraged to book early. Maribor is taking its role as the European Capital of Culture very seriously. Only one other city has spent a similar amount on its year of celebration. 2012 will be a year to remember for anyone lucky enough to visit Maribor.

Croatia is fast becoming one of the most well-liked travel destinations in Europe and is being discovered by travelers around the world. Known for its spectacular coastline dotted by over 1000 islands, Croatia is the ideal destination for someone looking for a seaside vacation.

While wealthy celebrities and business owners have recently bought some of the islands, there are still plenty of islands off the coastline to explore. Thankfully, there are many Croatia cruises that offer the perfect way to explore the pristine coastline and the baroque architecture of such popular port cities as Dubrovnik, once dubbed “the pearl of the Adriatic” by Lord Byron. The cruise options are varied ranging from the traditional large cruise ship to smaller more intimate cruises with as few as 30 people.

If cruising is not your style and you’d rather explore the interior of Croatia, hiking in the numerous forests and walking the streets of ancient Roman cities then you are in luck. There are plenty of guided Croatia tours that can guide you to the many architecturally noteworthy sites around the country, such as the spectacular Church of St. Donatus in Zadar. This Pre-Romanesque structure was built in the 9th century. If you do find yourself in Zadar, then you can relax by strolling their marble streets devoid of traffic and visiting their many museums. Then, at night, you can join the energetic student population for an evening on the town in lively cafes and bars that stay open late into the evening.

There is something for everyone, even those with the most discriminating taste.

There are a variety of Las Vegas hotels to choose from. You don't necessarily have to be loaded with cash to vacation in Vegas, even if you want to stay on the timeless Las Vegas strip! For example, a night in the Luxor's cheapest room is only $70! A night at New York New York will run about $150, and a night at the MGM Grand costs $279.

Vietnam is currently a leader on the travel market and is still on the rise. In the short time the country became a very popular travel destination. And there is a good reason for that. Indeed, Vietnam has something for everyone. Both nature and culture lovers are well catered for but also who seeks out the ethnic diversity of Southeast Asia or to culinary delights in Vietnam can find what they are looking for. A number of practical travel facts may help to it before pulling.

Take away items
Some things can be helpful to bring: mosquito lotion with high DEET factor, comfortable walking shoes, wet sandals (which therefore may become wet, can be very useful when certain locations some soggy when lying or when a particular site that shows flooded), rain jacket or even collapsible umbrella, sweater (for those going to the northern mountains), earplugs (Asia is always noisy !)…

Health
No vaccination is required. However, it is recommended that you be vaccinated against hepatitis A, typhoid fever and DTP. Also taking malaria tablets is not essential but may still recommended (this of course depends on your itinerary). Please consult your doctor. Even if you decide in consultation with your doctor to take malaria tablets, it is still quite a number of precautions against mosquito bites to observe (repellent detergent, covering clothing from sunset to sunrise, bednets).

Photography and filming
If you want to take pictures of the locals, do it with the necessary tact. Many people of ethnic minorities in and around Sapa and the Mekong delta are now accustomed to photographing visitors show respect but it is still in place. In addition, there are still a number of hill tribes who believe that photographs steal their souls and minds of these people would absolutely not be photographed. This is especially true along the less traveled routes.
If you simply want to photograph people in the street in other places or cities, ask first if he or she does not object. Respect that decision whatsoever. Even in temples asking to photograph people praying tactlessly.
Military areas and buildings should not be photographed.

Climate
Vietnam is long and narrow and because of this different climate regions. The weather in the north, south and central part is always slightly different. During a trip you will reach all parts of Vietnam can never be everywhere at the perfect moment. You have that effect and may weigh a few things in mind what region you eventually most of the time you spend on your trip.

The North will have its winter from November. This means that in the northern mountains may be cool to cold (even in extremis, a little snow). Drizzly weather and lots of fog can also throw a spanner in the. Best period for the north is of June to October. The central part of Vietnam with the most rain will settle accounts between August and end in October, the first half of November. Southern Vietnam has a tropical climate and has almost year round high temperatures and high humidity. The rainy season is from late October to an end.

Safety
Vietnam is a very safe country with relatively low crime. Give no chance pickpockets and keep your identity papers, money supply and credit and debit cards preferably in a belly pouch under your clothes (preferably waterproof).
Also connect your bag should always be off when leaving the hotel.

This city is divided into two parts by the River Danube. On one side lies the hilly Buda. On the other hand, the flat part of the city, which plague. If you are going across the bridge Citadella over the River Danube, enjoy a magnificent panorama. It is not surprising that it has been listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO, and is definitely worth a visit.

In the center of Pest, you can visit the parliament building built between 1885. and 1902. This is one of the largest buildings of Budapest. Behind the parliament, you can visit the Church of St. Stephen’s Basilica built in the neo-Renaissance style and is the largest church in the city.
If you go to Budapest, then these buildings are worth a visit.

There are plenty of opportunities to stay in Budapest. Prices for a hotel can vary between 45 euros and 500 euros per night. If you are trying to stay as low cost as possible you should considere staying in guesthouses. These have the advantage of being very cheap and there are many located in the center. The prices vary between 8 and 30 euros a night, so great affordable.
Those who like camping can also visit the camp near Budapest. The prices vary for two people between 13 and 28 euros.

Advantage and enjoy a beautiful, romantic city with many possibilities.
